Phenom SEM Preventative Maintenance

Removal and disassembly of the electron column. Includes inspection of the objective lens, final aperture, and pole piece.

Log hours, wattage and perform leakage current test.

Inspect the rear outlet for the presence of oil and contaminants. Replacement of oil cartridge, oil wicks and rear gasket.

Cleaning replacement of diaphragm, valves and outlet gasket.

Lubricate necessary parts including TMP, worm gear (if P-Series), and sample holder posts (if P-series).

Obtain quadrant report and physically inspect as necessary.

Obtain histogram report and recalibrate detector.

Perform EDS calibration and validation using known standards.

Physical inspection of sample holder and cleaning of o-ring/gaskets.

Physical inspection and adjustments, if necessary, of transports and SEM door.

Adjustments and alignments to original factory specification or better.

Upgrade to highest available software version(s) based on Phenom model.
