Wettability of the rock has been identified as one of the key factors affecting oil recovery. To study the wettability of the core as well as the wettability alteration caused by enhanced oil recovery (EOR) methods, different wettability measurement techniques have been utilized. The first part of the white paper discusses the wettability and its relation to the enhanced oil recovery techniques. The main emphasize is in the most used wettability measurement methods; contact angle, Amott-Harvey and USBM. In the last part, the methods are compared to each other.
