Scientific Communications Manager

Are you creative and with a background in science? Do you enjoy writing and creating marketing content? We are looking for someone with a science degree, a minimum of M.S. in the STEM field with a passion for creating marketing content based on strong scientific principles for the position of Scientific Communications Manager.

The Scientific Communications Manager will report to the Director of Marketing. A successful Scientific Communications Manager at Nanoscience Instruments will create compelling and informed marketing content that engages our audience and helps drive meaningful growth through various campaigns. Above all, you will be an expert in understanding our buyer’s journey and crafting content that resonates with our target audience.

  • Can gain a solid understanding of the scientific instrumentation landscape, including key trends, and technologies to create relevant and impactful content that resonates with our target audiences.
  • Can craft comprehensive content strategies that align with business goals, support lead generation, and drive customer engagement.
  • Has strong writing skills to create clear, persuasive, and informative content, including blog posts, white papers, case studies, newsletters, and social media content that speaks to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Can analyze content performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversions) and use data to refine strategies, optimize content, and measure ROI, ensuring content campaigns deliver measurable results.
  • Be experienced in managing multiple content projects simultaneously, from ideation to execution, including working with cross-functional teams (applications, sales, service, etc.) to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality content

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and delivering content marketing campaigns to meet growth objectives
  • Working with the applications, sales and service teams to gather and develop customer-facing content.
  • Writing polished, fun, and research-backed content (including email campaigns, guides, infographics, blogs, video script, web copy, etc.) using the voice, tone, and style that is consistent with Nanoscience’s brand and goals
  • Working with our design team to produce high-quality content
  • Building out content marketing strategies and assets to promote Nanoscience’s products, services, resources, and news using email, social media, direct mail and SEO.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Masters’ degree in a STEM field
  • 2+ years of experience in content marketing
  • Understanding of Inbound marketing strategies
  • Possess advanced writing, communications, and editing skills
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with decision making and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects based on set deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph. D in a STEM field
  • 2+ years of marketing automation (Salesforce, Hubspot) experience
  • Project management experience
  • WordPress familiarity
